HAVE YOU BEEN IN A MEETING LATELY AND SAID “I WONDER IF…”?

The words “I wonder if…” are often followed by a great idea. It is something bold and so radical that other people’s initial reaction is that it can’t be done. It’s the birth of revolutionary new products or the brave decision to enter new markets. You can imagine James Dyson saying “I wonder if we could develop a vacuum cleaner that didn’t have a bag?” or Steve Jobs at Apple saying “I wonder if we should sell songs that people could download over the internet?” These probably sounded like crazy ideas when they were first proposed. They prove however that original thinking can seize the moment, transform businesses and ultimately even entire industries if you have the courage and the resources to follow your instincts.
